How to Add or Edit Participants or Signatures on a Template

To add or change the participants or signature fields on your template, follow these steps.

This is an article about customizing participants or signature fields on a template.

On Lightfolio, the people in a Parties content block or Signatures content block on a document are called Participants.

Step 1: Go To My Templates

  • Go to the My Templates sub-tab on the Document Templates page and click on the template you want to edit.

  • The document builder will load your template in Template Mode.

Step 2a: Manage Your Participants

To edit the signature fields on your template, go to Step 2b.

  • To edit the participants on a template​, click on the green Manage Participants text in the Participants content block.


    You can also click on Participants in the vertical main menu.

  • A Manage Participants box will appear.

Step 2b: Manage Your Signatures

  • To edit the signatures on a template​, click on the green Manage Signatures text in the Signatures content block.

  • ​A Manage Participants box will appear.

Step 3: Make Your Changes

  • To add someone else to the content block, click on the + Add Participant button.

  • To add yourself to the content block, click on the + Add Me button.​

  • To remove someone from the content block, click on the Delete icon next to their role.

  • Click the Save Changes button to apply your changes.
