Step 1: Go To “My Templates”
Go to the My Templates sub-tab on the Document Templates page and click on the template you want to edit.
The document builder will load your template in Template Mode.
Step 2: Customize Your Template
You can jump to the relevant article sections by using the links below.
Changing Font Pairings
Click on Fonts/Colors in the Document Builder menu.
Under the Font Pairing header, click on the button with the current font pairing, e.g. Oswald & Noto Sans with a pencil icon next to it.
A Select Font Pairing box will pop up.
Under the new font pairing you want to use, click on the Select button.

Change The Page Theme (Background Color)
You can change the background color of your page by going to Fonts/Colors in the Document Builder menu.
From there, go to Themes and click on one of the other color theme options listed, e.g., Light 2 or Dark 1.
To change the color options in your background color theme, go to Change The Color Palette.

If you don’t like the color choices available to you in the Themes palette, go to Fonts/Colors in the Document Builder menu.
Choose another theme from the Color Palette drop-down list.
Formatting Text
Edit Non-Header Text on a Page
To edit the text in a content block on a page, such as a word or line, click on and highlight the text with the cursor.
A box of formatting options will pop up below or above the text.
From these options, you can apply bold, underline, italicize, strikethrough, or highlight formatting to your text.
You can also change the color of the text, change the text alignment, and create a numbered or bulleted list.
Edit Header Text on a Page
To edit the size of your header highlight the header text with the cursor. A box of formatting options will pop up.
Click on the drop down list in the center of the options box and select Heading 2, Heading 3, or Normal.
Using the formatting options, you can change the horizontal alignment of your header and apply bold, underline, italicize, or strikethrough formatting to header text.
Note: Numbered or bulleted lists will default to Normal text and cannot be applied to Header 2 or Header 3 Text.
