Can I Collect a Signature With a Form?

Follow these steps to learn how to add a signature field to a form.

Step 1: Go To Your Form

  • Click on Forms in the vertical menu or the horizontal menu.

  • Go to the Forms sub-tab next to the My Forms header, then click on the form that you want to collect signatures through.

Step 2: Add a Text Field

  • In the Form Builder, hover over the last field or text block on your form.
    ​

  • Click on the green circle plus icon below the content block to add a new field at the end of your form.

  • From the Add a Field box, click on the Single Line Text option in the leftmost column.

Step 3: Edit Your New Text Field And Save

  • After adding the single line text field, an Edit Field box panel will pop up.

  • Under the Required option, select the Yes checkbox.

  • Type in Signature for the field label.

  • Click on the red Save button to save your changes.

When your clients view your form, they will be required to type in their signature before submitting it.
