Create Add-Ons or Upgrades For Your Products In Your Store

Learn how to create add-ons or upgrades for your product items in your store by following these steps.

Step 1: Go To Your Price List

  • Click on the price list category with the item you want to edit.

  • Go to the item on the product list that you want to edit, and click on the three-dot icon on the right. From the menu, click on Edit.

Step 2: Show More Options

  • From the Store Pricing page, click on the blue Show More Options text (under Product Details).

Step 3: Create Add-Ons or Upgrades

  • Under the Add-Ons and Upgrades section, click on the Add Product Option button.

Product Option Box

  • From the Add/Edit Product Option box, fill out the following:

    • Option Name: Type in a name, such as “Cover Material” or “Album Size”

    • Option Item Fields: Each add-on or upgrade option item needs a description and additional cost.

    • Option Items Description: e.g., “Linen Cover” or “Leather Cover”.

    • Additional Cost field: Type in the extra cost, such as 0.00 or 30.00.

  • To add another option item row, click on the Add Option Item button.

  • Click on the Save Option button on the Add/Edit Product Option box.

Save Your Product Changes

  • After adding option items, click on the Save Product button.

  • Note: You can edit or remove option items by hovering over the table of product options, and clicking on blue Edit or Delete text.

Add-Ons and Upgrades Example

The types of upgrades or add-ons you can offer are customizable. For example, if you’d like to offer a Wedding Album product, you could include many upgrades for cover material, album size, page thickness, and spread count.
