Step 1: Open Your Document

  • Go to the Documents page.

  • Open the document draft you want to edit in the Recent documents section, or create the document you need.

  • When the Document Builder opens, click on Fonts/Colors in the menu.

Note: To change the design of a document you’ve already sent, see our article on How to Edit a Document That Has Been Sent.

Step 2: Format the Text and Save

Edit Your Header Size

  • Highlight your Header text and a box of formatting options will pop up.

  • Click on the Heading drop down list in the center of the options box. Choose from one of the options (Heading 2, Normal, etc).

Other Text Formatting Options

  • After highlighting the text with your cursor, a box of formatting options will pop up.

    • Apply Formatting (bold, italics, etc): Click on one of the options to the left of the Heading size field.

    • Text Alignment: To change the text alignment, click on the paragraph icon (three uneven lines).

    • Ordered or Unordered Lists: Click on the numbered or bulleted list icons to create a list. Note: Lists can only be applied to Normal-style text, not Header text.

    • Text color: Click on the A icon (with a grey line) to choose a text color from the color picker.

    • Highlight Text: Click on the Marker icon (next to the paragraph icon) to highlight text.

    • To remove all formatting, click on the last icon on the right.

  • When you are done making changes, click on the red Unsaved button in the lower left corner.
