What is Two-Factor Authorization?
Two-Factor Authorization (2FA) adds a second step to your login progress. After entering your password, you’ll be prompted for a temporary code from your phone. The temporary code will come from an authenticator app.

The authenticator app is what will provide the code for you to login using 2FA. Using 2FA with an authenticator app will help keep your online accounts and data safer.
What Kind of Authenticator App Should I Install?
Many authenticator apps are free to install and use. Here are some popular authenticator apps you can use:
- 2FAS (Android, iOS)
- Aegis (Android)
- Bitwarden (Android, iOS)
- Authy (Android, iOS)
- Stratum (Android, Android Watches)
- Google Authenticator (Android, iOS)
After you've installed and set up an authenticator app on your device, you can set up 2FA for your Lightfolio account.
Where Can I Manage My 2FA Settings on Lightfolio?
- Go to your Business Setup Settings at https://app.lightfolio.com/admin/business/. Scroll down to the Two-Factor Authentication section.
- Select the Enable 2FA checkbox, then click on the Save button to save your changes.
- Once you’ve enabled 2FA, you’ll be prompted to provide a temporary code after typing in your password.
