You can use your custom domain for your booking site. For example, if you own www.mystudioname.com and want your booking site content found at clients.mystudioname.com, you can do so by creating a CNAME record with your domain registrar (such as GoDaddy, Google Domains, etc).
Note: You must be subscribed to a paid plan to enable this option.
Step 1: Go to Your DNS Records
Log into the website where you purchased your domain name (e.g., GoDaddy, Squarespace, Network Solutions, etc), and locate your DNS records.
Create a CNAME record that points to custom.lightfolio.com.
It's very important for the "Points To" field to have the exact custom.lightfolio.com text as shown here.
For example, if you are using GoDaddy, you will enter "clients" as the Host and have it point to "custom.lightfolio.com".
Step 2: Go to Your Lightfolio Booking Site
Once you have created the CNAME record with the company that hosts your domain, open Lightfolio in another tab or window.
Go to the Studio Manager Dashboard. Click on the Bookings tab, then select Booking Site from the drop-down menu.
In the Site Details section, click on the Edit pencil icon next to your Booking Site link.
Step 3: Type In Your Domain on the Booking Site
After clicking on the Edit icon, an Edit CRM Domain box will pop up.
In the Use My Own Domain section, enter in the domain you’re connecting to.
For example, because we chose "clients" as the host in our CNAME Record in Step 1, we'll enter our domain in as "clients.lightfolio.com".
Click on the Save Custom Domain button.
Your Booking Site Link will be updated to your custom domain link and visible on your Booking Site page (under Site Details).
Step 4: Add an A Record (For Domains Starting with www)
If you are planning to use “www” for your galleries (e.g., www.johnsmith.com), you will most likely need to add an A record.
Inside your DNS records, create an A record that points to 54.208.236.76.
The name/host column will contain "@".
You can leave the TTL and the Seconds fields as they are.
