If you are a Lightroom Classic user, you can now upload images directly to one of your Lightfolio galleries with our plug-in.
Step 1: Download the Zip File and Extract It
Download the Lightroom plug-in here: https://www.lightfolio.com/content/lightfolio.lrplugin.zip
When the dialog box opens, save the lightfolio.lrplugin.zip file to a folder, such as Documents (Mac) or My Documents (Windows).
Note: Depending on your device settings, the file may be automatically downloaded to your Downloads folder.
On your device, go to the folder where the file was saved and extract the plugin folder from the zip file.
On Mac: Double click the lightfolio.lrplugin.zip file to extract it.
On Windows or Ubuntu:
Right-click the lightfolio.lrplugin.zip file.
From the file options list, click on Extract All… or Extract Here.
A lightfolio.lrplugin folder will appear after you extract it from the zip file.
Step 2: Move the Plug-in Folder to your Lightroom Classic Program Folder
Select the lightfolio.lrplugin folder and cut it by using Ctrl+X or by right-clicking and choosing cut from the menu.
Go to your Adobe Lightroom Classic program folder on your device. Paste the folder by using Ctrl+V or right-clicking and choosing paste from the menu.
On Windows: By default, the file path is C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom Classic
On Mac: By default, the file path is /Applications/Adobe Lightroom Classic
Step 3: Add The Plug-In on Lightroom
In Lightroom, open the File menu, then click on Plug-in Manager.
From the Lightroom Plugin Manager box, click on the Add button in the lower left corner.
Go to lightfolio.lrplugin folder on your device and select it, then click on the Add Plugin button.
Once you’ve added the plugin folder to Lightroom, it should show up in the Plugin Manager box with a green icon and the Installed and Running message.
After adding the plug-in to Lightroom, you can start Publishing your Images from Lightroom.
