If you are a Lightroom Classic user, you can now upload images directly to one of your Lightfolio galleries with our plug-in.

Step 1: Download the Zip File and Extract It

  • When the dialog box opens, save the lightfolio.lrplugin.zip file to a folder, such as Documents (Mac) or My Documents (Windows).

    • Note: Depending on your device settings, the file may be automatically downloaded to your Downloads folder.

  • On your device, go to the folder where the file was saved and extract the plugin folder from the zip file.

    • On Mac: Double click the lightfolio.lrplugin.zip file to extract it.

    • On Windows or Ubuntu:

      • Right-click the lightfolio.lrplugin.zip file.

      • From the file options list, click on Extract All… or Extract Here.

    • A lightfolio.lrplugin folder will appear after you extract it from the zip file.

Step 2: Move the Plug-in Folder to your Lightroom Classic Program Folder

  • Select the lightfolio.lrplugin folder and cut it by using Ctrl+X or by right-clicking and choosing cut from the menu.

  • Go to your Adobe Lightroom Classic program folder on your device. Paste the folder by using Ctrl+V or right-clicking and choosing paste from the menu.

    • On Windows: By default, the file path is C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom Classic

    • On Mac: By default, the file path is /Applications/Adobe Lightroom Classic

Step 3: Add The Plug-In on Lightroom

  • In Lightroom, open the File menu, then click on Plug-in Manager.

  • From the Lightroom Plugin Manager box, click on the Add button in the lower left corner.

  • Go to lightfolio.lrplugin folder on your device and select it, then click on the Add Plugin button.

  • Once you’ve added the plugin folder to Lightroom, it should show up in the Plugin Manager box with a green icon and the Installed and Running message.

After adding the plug-in to Lightroom, you can start Publishing your Images from Lightroom.
