Step 1: Go to the Watermarks Tab

  • Click on the Watermarks tab in the top menu of any gallery. In this tab, you can view, edit, or apply a watermark to your images.

Step 2: View Your Watermarks

  • By default, Lightfolio offers a Text Watermark and an Image Watermark for you to use already.

  • You can also click on the + New Watermark button to add a new text or image watermark.

  • Image watermarks must be in .gif format or .png format.

Step 3: Edit Your Watermark (Optional)

  • Click on the watermark you want to edit. An Add/Edit box will pop up.

    • For text watermarks, you can edit the watermark text, and the scale, opacity, position, font, and more.

    • For image watermarks, you can edit the image scale, opacity, and position.

  • Remember to click on the Save button to save your changes.

Step 4: Apply the Watermark to Your Images

  • Go to the gallery that you want to apply a watermark to. Click on the Settings tab in the gallery menu and click on Watermarks.

  • Make sure that the Enable Watermarks toggle switch is on.

  • Go to the When to Apply Watermarks drop down list to choose where to apply watermarks. You can put watermarks on the following:

    • Slideshow Only (default)

    • Slideshow + Thumbnails

    • Slideshow + SID (Single Image Downloads)

    • Slideshow + Thumbnails + SID

  • Next, go to the Select Watermark section and choose the watermark you want to use. Lightfolio will automatically display a preview of it.

  • To manage the watermark settings for your gallery folders, go to the Folder Override section.

  • Once you are done adjusting your watermark settings, click the Save Settings button to save your changes.

Step 5: Allow the Watermarks to Process

  • After saving your settings, a red “Watermark processing” message should appear on your screen.

  • Once the processing is complete, preview your gallery. Your watermarks will be applied to your images.
